The Red Cliffs Mall in sunny St. George, Utah, selected some containers and a planting design to enhance a courtyard area between two retail storefronts. The biggest obstacle in carrying out their design was the hot dry climate in St. George where summer temperatures regularly climb well over 100 degrees. Facilities managers wondered how they could keep the plants healthy and looking good without dedicating costly manpower to the task. They turned to Tournesol Siteworks' CWI Container Irrigation Inserts.

Correctly sized inserts were easily found for each container in the courtyard design. When planted with beautiful perennials and colorful annuals, the inserts require water only once each week; a simple task using a garden hose connected to the nearest building. Now, despite the heat and dry climate, the planters portray an inviting look to the surrounding retail businesses.
