The IHC Hospital in St. George, Utah installed a new healing garden for patients and visitors. They chose to surround the space with hanging baskets flowing with color and greenery. Niki Warner's company, Botanicals,was given the task to design an installation that would achieve the aesthetic objectives of the hospital as well as be easily maintained. One hurdle she had to overcome was to make sure the planters did not overflow or drip water onto the surface below.

Niki chose to use CWF Flower Bowl container irrigation inserts from Tournesol Siteworks in each hanging basket. This system allowed Botanicals to only have to water the baskets once a week and, because the insert system is self contained, there is never any worry about water leaving the baskets. The irrigation inserts keep the plants healthy and full while decreasing the maintenance intervals needed.
